So this month the two games that I have been waiting for diligently have finally come out.
Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet. Completely different genres but totally amazing.
I currently have LittleBigPlanet and I'm trying to do my usual of 100% a game before I get another game so close to the purchase date.
LBP is honeslty a very short and good game but flawed in one of it's three flagship pillars. The Create. The Single Player aspect of the game is amazing. Short but great.
But this Create mode. I severely doubt many people can grasp the full concept of LBP's create mode.
I haven't yet to. And I was in the beta.
But I would give it about a 9.5.
Resistance 2 I have yet to even try. But I hope to get it incredibly soon.
If anyone would like to donate some cash to help me out, my email is k_chug@yahoo.com
Just email me and we'll go from there.

FPS Gamer Classification:
With quite possibly the best FPS (First Person Shooter) behind us, let's take some time to classify some type of FPS players.
1.The Assault Player:
Very Common player. Consistently uses a default type of weapon that has a good balance of everything.
Usually thinks very objectively. Meaning that he or she focuses on the task at hand and only sees one way of achieving it.
2.The Ninja:
Fast. Commonly uses a weapon that is fast and close range.
Always moving until the attack.
Uses traps and stunning weapons consistently.
3.The Defender:
Slow, Heavy, but Powerful. Doesn't move a whole heck of a lot.
Stays in one area and takes apart anyone who gets close.
4.The Sniper:
Hangs Back and fires from afar.
Useless at close range.
5.The Camper:
Stays in one position and has all opponents come to him.
Hated by gamers everywhere.

PSP Review: Secret Agent Clank
Here we have a highly anticipated title.
Secret Agent Clank.
Yes it does pale in comparison to God of War Chains of Olympus but it does the trick.
After playing through what I think is about 1/3 of the game I can quickly and easily say that it is a Sly Cooper knock off.
But instead of theivery you are a spy.
Armed with a large set of weapons you go on an adventure to find the their of the Eye of Infinity. Albeit without your friend Ratchet who has been framed for the robbery of the Eye.
Sadly he is in jail and Qwark is making his biography.
In between your amazing spy adventures these beat em up side missions involve you spending about 5 minutes of beating the daylights out of anything that moves.
Sadly they are tedious and boring and really draw away from the game itself.
Qwark's parts are better than Ratchet's as Qwark makes some jokes through the battle and as he is telling you his story and changes parts of it, the enemy changes in the battle.
Overall I would give it say a 8.5
Good but those side missions get boring.

LittleBigPlanet and the Big 'Sclusives
Seeing as many of use believe that 2008 is the Year of the PS3 and MSG4 has done nothing but prove that, let's talk about what else is in store for PS3 and future PS3 owners.
Well let's start with what we have to work with here:
LittleBigPlanet (LBP)
KillZone 2
Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty
Resistance Fall of Man 2
BIG HUGE GAMES ON THE LIST!
HYPE PAST COMPARISON!
OMFG IS TAHT LBP??!?!?!FTW!!!!
In case you really have been living under a rock and just crawled out to avoid a white pallor in your skin, let's look at these games, shall we?
LBP is a new kind of game. It redefines the meaning of Sandbox games.
In it you play as a potato sack with arms, legs and a head.
In it you can create and share your own created levels and also play the included developer ones. TOTAL CUSTOMIZATION is this games main selling point.
You can customize the map with pictures from the HDD,
You can customize your own maps with more stuff,
You can customize they way your Potato sack or Sackboy looks,
Hell you can even customize your friends face with a slap to the face.
In game of course!

Finally some Updates
So been away for awhile, but a friend,
Homerking12 (The first reader to actually talk to me)
has alerted me to how unupdated this blog is.
So here goes.
The PS3 has undergone a bit of a double Firmware update.
Which you should have heard about if you don't live under a 360.
Hell you probably heard about it too.
2.40 and subsequently 2.41
2.40 added mainly In Game XMB and Trophies.
2.41 fixed a few bugs in 2.40.
Namely bricking and PSN sluggishness.
Now something you might not have heard.
Final Fantasy FFXIII is now multiplatform.
It will now be released for 360.
This hurts me.
This really hurts.
It is only slightly brighter seeing as FFXIII Versus is still exclusive to the PS3.
I never was a fan of either GTA or MGS.
I know, I know, kill me.
But FF was something that grabbed me after Kingdom Hearts and Dirge of Cerberus.
But we still have a crazy muthafuken lineup due out soon.
Namely KillZone 2, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlantet, RE5 (Not multiplat but still amazing), FFXIII Versus, and I guess FFXIII.
OH MAN!
I originally thought that this would blow the minds of Japanese people everywhere and up the pickup rate of 360s but I was wrong.
Thanks to a quick check on PS3fanboy the 360 version of FFXIII will only appear in English speaking countries.
Not too bad, but I am not sure I like RPGs too much so since I forgot how FFXIII controls I may not pick it up.
Versus on the other hand I'm pretty sure plays like Kingdom Hearts.
So I'll probably pick it up.
Now what? Will YOU pickup FFXIII now that it is multi platform?
Tell me in the comments.

The QuickTO: Change your NAT type
OK my very first QuickTO. A nice little tutorial that you can do in under 20 minutes.
Today's is how to change NAT 3 to NAT 2 or 1.
Now. NAT 3 typically means you are behind a firewall.
That is good for most cases but for video gaming it is terrible.
Windows Viruses and hackers typically don't go for PS3s. :)
Now first off check your PS3's IP address.
Just go to your Status list and look for IP address.
Copy it or leave it on your screen.
Now turn on your computer
Connect to your network
and open your browser.
Goto 192.168.1.1
No .com
Copy and paste that if you must.
If you are connected yousa should see a login screen.
Good.
Now open a new window or tab.
Google the default password for your router's model name.
You should find it.
If you like looking for stuff go to:
http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html
Now enter that user and password you found.
Typically its admin and password or something like that.
Go to your Firewall settings.
Look for a DMZ host or something with DMZ.
Enter your PS3's IP address.
Log out and then run an PS3 Network Test.
If all went well you should be on NAT 2 or 1.
If not then you have to manually set your IP address on the PS3.
Bummer.
But I'll go through that one another day.
Goodnight Everybody!

Firmware 2.20 for PS3. THE BLU! IT LIVESSSS!
Today Sony released firmware 2.20 to the PS3. It is pretty good.
The best part being the use of BD-Live.
You can also resume movies from where you left off.
DivX videos over 2GB can now be played.
But that last feature is pretty useless.
Where are you gonna get those videos now that Stage6 is gone?
Ah oh well.
Since I'm lazy I won't give you a link but if you really want you can get it from
your PS3 or from a website.
AH I FEEL PITY ON YOU SINCE I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD AT SCHOOL BUT NO GO
No it's not a direct link but I'm lazy.
